Giants auditioning cornerbacks

After losing CB Terrell Thomas for the season and CB Brian Witherspoon to a knee injury Monday night, the Giants are auditioning several corners Wednesday and intend to sign one, according to a league source.

When New York Giants CB Terrell Thomas walked off the field under his own power near the end of the first half in Monday night’s preseason game against the Bears with a right knee injury, it didn’t appear to be too serious.
