Carter shows he’s a good fit at Syracuse pro day

Delone Carter is the type of player that’s en vogue in the NFL right now. A compact running back out of Syracuse, Carter is a change-of-pace type with above-average skills as a receiver out of the backfield. Carter was one of 15 NFL hopefuls on display at Syracuse’s March 23 pro day. Representatives from 26 teams attended the event, held indoors on FieldTurf. Carter (5-8 5/8, 224) ran 40 times of 4.50 and 4.46 and posted a 10-1 broad jump. He stood on his NFL Scouting Combine times in the vertical leap and three-cone drill.
