While Saints fans protested the coach’s season-long suspension Sunday, Jimmy Buffett and his loyal fans threw their support behind Sean Payton, who accepted an invitation on stage to play the bongos (the word “play” being used loosely here).

When news broke Monday that Sean Payton intended to relocate to Dallas and commute to New Orleans for his job as coach of the Saints, it seemed an awful lot like a non-story. Quite frankly, it still does.
