Falcons GM Thomas Dimitroff, in concert with head coach Mike Smith, has unearthed some gems who have paid big dividends this season.

The Atlanta Falcons will hold out a number of starters in Thursday night’s preseason game against the Patriots, including starting cornerbacks Brent Grimes and Dunta Robinson.

After being limited all week in practice, Falcons RB Michael Turner (chest) appears fine and is officially listed as probable for Sunday’s game against the Cowboys.

Falcons second-round draft pick William Moore signed a four-year contract Thursday, according to a source familiar with the situation. Financial terms weren’t disclosed.
