Ravens starting LT Jared Gaither was hospitalized for further testing after being injured in a collision during Sunday’s game against the Patriots. Eli Manning, Matthew Stafford and Devin Hester also left their respective games with injuries.

Lions rookie QB Matthew Stafford left Sunday’s 48-24 loss to the Bears with a right knee injury and didn’t return.

It looks as though Devin Hester’s day has been cut short due to an injury. Hester left today’s game against the Lions with an undisclosed injury during the second quarter after taking a hard hit on a two-yard reception, and isn’t on the field for the Bears’ first drive of the second half.

Baltimore Ravens LT Jared Gaither was taken off the field by via a stretcher during the second quarter of today’s game against the Patriots after suffering what appears to be a serious head or neck injury.

Looks like a crises was averted for the Baltimore Ravens — WR Derrick Mason has returned to today’s game against the New England Patriots. The news may not be as positive for the Bears and WR Devin Hester.

The first official injury reports have the week were released Wednesday. While the Chargers finally got RB LaDainian Tomlinson back, a number of other key players — Willie Parker, Marc Bulger, Vince Wilfork and Cedric Benson — were unable to practice.

Texans RB Ahman Green, who missed last week’s game due to a foot injury, was listed as limited in practice on Thursday.
