Cowboys RB Marion Barber, who’s nursing a left thigh injury, was limited for the fourth consecutive practice today and is listed as questionable to play in Monday night’s game against the Panthers.

Buccaneers coach Raheem Morris announced that RB Derrick Ward will start Sunday against the Giants, his former team, while Cadillac Williams (knee) and Earnest Graham (hamstring) nurse injuries. Williams and Graham both are listed as questionable on the team’s injury report.

Four Colts defenders — LB Gary Brackett (knee), DE Dwight Freeney (back), CB Kelvin Hayden (hamstring) and LB Clint Session (ankle) — are listed as questionable on the team’s injury report for Sunday night’s game against the Cardinals.

One week after facing the Jets without Wes Welker, the Patriots could be without Welker and fellow WR Randy Moss, who was held out of Friday’s practice with a back injury. Welker, who’s nursing a knee injury, also missed practice Friday, and his status for Sunday’s meeting with the Falcons is expected to be a game-time decision.

Browns RB Jamal Lewis is doubtful to play Sunday against the Ravens because of a hamstring injury that has kept him from practicing all week. If Lewis can’t play, the rushing duties are expected to be shared by Jerome Harrison and James Davis, the latter of whom is listed as probable with a shoulder injury.

Rams rookie RT Jason Smith is doubtful to play against the Packers on Sunday because of a knee injury. The No. 2 overall draft pick started in the Rams’ first two games.

Redskins RB Clinton Portis is questionable for Sunday’s game against the Lions because of an ankle injury. Portis was limited in practice Wednesday and Thursday, but he sat out today’s session.

Jets CBs Lito Sheppard (quadricep) and Donald Strickland (ankle) have been ruled out of Sunday’s matchup with the Titans. Both suffered injuries against the Patriots last week.

Vikings WR Percy Harvin has been held out of practice for the past two days because of severe migraine headaches, according to a source with knowledge of the situation, and he is listed as questionable to play in Sunday’s home game against the 49ers.
