Wake Forest nose tackle could become NFL fullback

Representatives from 22 NFL teams were on hand for Wake Forest’s pro day on March 17, when 10 Wake Forest players — plus three athletes from Winston-Salem State and Catawba College — worked out outdoors on grass in below-freezing, 26-degree temperatures and precipitation that featured a wintry mix. Mike Campanaro, WR (5-foot-9, 187 pounds) — Campanaro stood on his numbers from the NFL Scouting Combine, and did a positional workout. Given the less-than-ideal conditions, Campanaro was unable to put forth his best workout. Josh Harris, RB (5-9 7/8, 206) — Harris ran the 40-yard dash twice, doing so in 4.46 seconds on each attempt. Lots of attention paid to Wake Forest’s Ghee

Wake Forest CB Brandon Ghee (5-foot-11, 5/8, 191 pounds) is an explosive athlete, and his impressive workouts are catching the attention of teams. Ghee, who was a top performer for his potiion in the 40-yard dash, the broad jump, the three-cone drill, the short shuttle and the long shuttle, had another good performance at the Demon Deacons’ pro day.
