Fantasy football stopped being fun for a lot of us in Week 16. Though, I’ve long contended fantasy football isn’t fun. You’re gutted when your team loses, and you’re merely relived when your team wins.

Start Philip Rivers and all of your Chargers with confidence this week. This is a Norv Turner game where this team rallies for a somewhat meaningless win in October. These were all my rally cries prior to the Chargers game in Cleveland.
So much for that.
Should Washington Redskins wide receiver Pierre Garcon be dropped from your fantasy rosters?

Many fantasy enthusiasts likely feel a lot like Felix Baumgartner this morning after some players (and let’s put this mildly) didn’t come through on Sunday. Though, some old standbys finally showed themselves. Let’s get into it.
Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning might be giving hope, but he’s not back to his old self.

The 2012 season is just days away from kicking off and this looks like an exciting season with a lot of big-name rookies expected to make a huge impact. But you can’t talk about those rookies without the inevitable comparisons. Here’s a look at some of the top rookies and how they compare to their contemporaries.
Cleveland Browns running back Trent Richardson is slated to have his second knee surgery since February. Expect his fantasy football draft value to fall accordingly.
The impending sale of the Cleveland Browns has put the entire organization in flux, NFL Network’s Steve Wyche said “NFL AM” on Friday.
“The mounting speculation around the league is there will be changes in the front office,” Wyche said, citing an unnamed NFL general manager. “That means Mike Holmgren, the team president, likely will be out and anybody he hired is very vulnerable, that includes (general manager) Tom Heckert and a lot of people in the front office.”
Browns running back Trent Richardson plans on being a Cleveland icon. Though expectations are high, he might be able to deliver.

According to reports, Rashard Mendenhall is likely to start the season on the PUP list. The back had already fallen out of fantasy favor, but is this the end of the line?
The Browns expect Trent Richardson to be a workhorse as a rookie. How does that affect his fantasy value? Simply put, it’s great news.
If you think Browns rookie running back Trent Richardson is being overvalued in fantasy football, you might want to think again.

Despite the comments of Eagles coach Andy Reid, LeSean McCoy remains a top-four pick in 2012 fantasy drafts.
