The Baltimore Ravens have been one of the most busy teams during free agency, and they apparently are showing no signs of slowing down. Said general manager Ozzie Newsome: “The phones are still hot.”

If nothing else, Rams coach Jim Haslett has tried to overhaul the previously existing culture in St. Louis. Over the past two weeks, Haslett has individually met with approximately 400 Rams employees, everyone from each of the players, to each of the assistant coaches, to the marketing department, the ticketing department and anyone working for the organization.

The two most interesting names to track as the trade deadline approaches both come from the state of Missouri — St. Louis wide receiver Torry Holt and Kansas City tight end Tony Gonzalez.

Chiefs president Carl Peterson insisted this week he will not trade Gonzalez, and cannot be persuaded to make any such type of deal.

Rams inactives: QB Brock Berlin (3rd), WR Keenan Burton, RB Brian Leonard, DB Brannon Condren, G Jacob Bell, G Roy Schuening, WR Drew Bennett, DE Leonard Little.

Analysis: Bennett remains out of action, so WR Torry Holt is still the lone fantasy-relevant option in the Rams’ passing game.
