Maybe FB Tony Richardson‘s one-year deal with the Jets goes largely unnoticed in March, but it won’t come September.

Just as the Redskins resigned CB DeAngelo Hall, the Jets did the same with FB Tony Richardson. It’s believed to be a one-year deal with $500,000 guaranteed, with New York keeping the dependable blocker and locker-room leader.

The Jets’ battering-ram FB Tony Richardson helped RB Thomas Jones rack up an AFC-high 1,312 rushing yards and a franchise-record 13 touchdowns last season.

Now comes Richardson’s reward — a new contract.
