The Seattle Seahawks have signed T.J. Houshmandzadeh to a five-year, $40 million deal. The move gives them a solid and reliable wideout and causes a domino effect of sorts in fantasy football.
Houshmandzadeh has been a PPR dream since 2006, averaging a solid 98 receptions over the last three seasons. He was even able to reach 92 catches last season with Ryan Fitzpatrick, not Carson Palmer, under center for the Bengals.

Free-agent WR T.J. Houshmandzadeh, who has already visited the Seattle Seahawks and is currently talking with the Minnesota Vikings, told Bengals.com that he anticipated picking a team Sunday night. But Houshmandzadeh’s agent, Kennard McGuire, said a decision wouldn’t be made Sunday, according to the Minneapolis Star-Tribune.

The Star Tribune is reporting that the Vikings have sent feelers to free-agent WR Michael Clayton and CB Chris Carr to gauge their interest in coming to Minnesota. The Vikings are looking to upgrade at receiver and add depth at cornerback. Clayton is expected to visit Detroit. The Vikings also figure to be in the mix for free-agent WR T.J. Houshmandzadeh.
