Let’s get this straight: Tuesday is Joe Namath’s birthday. … The Hall of Famer is 68 years old. … Coincidentally, ’68 was the year Namath led the Jets to the Super Bowl… Sounds like an obvious time to pay tribute to the man by looking back on his career courtesy of Spike Lee’s commentary from last year’s Top 100 series.

I’ve made no secret of the fact that I hope to one day be named the Uniform Czar for All of Sports, so I’m not surprised that many people have asked for my opinion on the quality of the combo of the Packers’ glorious home getups (green jerseys/gold hats & pants) going up against the Steelers’ road unis (white jerseys/black hats/gold pants).

The Twitterverse has spoken. Marshawn Lynch‘s touchdown run was the greatest of all time. The Seahawks upset of the Saints was the greatest of all time. The Pick Six is the greatest internet creation of all time. Alright, I might only be trending that last one. But let’s have some perspective.
