The Panthers lost star WR Steve Smith to an ankle injury Sunday against the Saints, and his return is questionable.

Texans WR Andre Johnson is listed as questionable with an ankle injury, but do you think that Johnson is going to sit out a huge matchup against the Cowboys? The Texans are playing in their third Super Bowl in three weeks, and there is no way the team is going on without its best player.
Chargers RB Ryan Mathews fumbled, hurt his ankle and then watched Mike Tolbert score two touchdowns — what should have been his touchdowns. Already the anxiety is becoming too much.

A year ago at this time, the only thing you heard about the New York Giants was that they had no wide receivers. Now it’s the least of the worries for the Giants.
It might be too early to count out Dwayne Jarrett in the competition for the Panthers’ No. 2 receiver spot.
