The biggest story in sports this week is the return of The Rock to the WWF. The news sent waves around the world, not only was The Rock trending on Twitter, but so was his alter-ego Dwayne Johnson. That, my friends, takes star power.

And it got me thinking, is there anybody in the NFL who carries the Rock’s charisma? Some might say Chad Ochocinco, but that doesn’t really work. Mainly because The Rock was once a champion.

The Panthers have placed RB DeAngelo Williams on the IR, and Mike Goodson is expected to start this week vs. the Ravens.

Panthers WR Steve Smith walked off the field, apparently battling cramps after missing on a potential touchdown-pass from QB Matt Moore. Steve Smith South is going to be an interesting dilemma going forward, because QB Jimmy Clausen has nearly killed his fantasy value. So you have to appreciate it when the receiver is just ruled out for an upcoming game. Who needs this kind of trouble.
