Finally, good news for Bengals’ Palmer

In a season full of bad news for Bengals quarterback Carson Palmer, he finally got some good news.

Palmer is not expected to undergo surgery this offseason, a Bengals source said. The quarterback’s elbow injury, which has sidelined him since early October and prevented him from throwing for eight weeks, has recovered enough to where Palmer actually threw twice this week without discomfort. He is expected to continue throwing as well, which is what Cincinnati had been hoping.
