Bengals DL coach gets good look at South Florida duo

Representatives from 13 NFL teams — including Cincinnati Bengals defensive line coach Jay Hayes — were on hand to watch 14 South Florida players work out outdoors on grass Monday. Two defensive ends from the school appear to be third-day selection possibilities in the 2014 NFL Draft. Aaron Lynch (6-foot-5, 252 pounds) ran the 40-yard dash in 4.69 seconds on each attempt. He had a real good 10-yard time of 1.52 seconds, which is an indication that he can be a good pass rusher at the next level. Lynch had a 29-inch vertical jump and a 9-foot-9 broad jump. South Florida held its pro day on March 6 outdoors on grass. A total of 17 representatives from NFL teams were on hand to watch, including San Francisco 49ers secondary coach Ed Donatell.
