Free-agent C Jason Brown is drawing interest from several teams, including the Ravens, league sources said Friday.
Brandon Jacobs’ one-year deal with the San Francisco 49ers will include a $950,000 base salary with $150,000 guaranteed in the form of a signing bonus and a possible $475,000 roster bonus, according to a league source. Jacobs’ contract is worth a maximum of $1.575 million, the source said.
Former Giants RB Brandon Jacobs has agreed to terms on a one-year deal with the 49ers, according to a league source.
Niners QB Alex Smith‘s three-year deal does not include a signing bonus and is worth $8 million in 2012 — a $5 million fully guaranteed base salary, a $3 million roster bonus and another $1.25 million in incentives.

When Peyton Manning decided to play for the Broncos, he also had to decide not to play for any of the other teams that had pursued him. It was a decision, Manning told NFL Network’s Rich Eisen on Tuesday, that he didn’t take lightly.
The 49ers’ offer to free-agent QB Alex Smith remains on the table and has not been lowered or revoked, league sources said Monday. The sources said the team is confident Smith will opt to stay with San Francisco.
Peyton Manning is driving his free-agency process himself, directly dealing with team officials, and hasn’t given a firm timetable on a decision, according to sources with knowledge of the process.
Alex Smith is visiting the Dolphins on Sunday, but the QB also has a visit scheduled with the Seahawks, according to league sources.
