The Cardinals announced during a news conference Wednesday that they have signed two-time Pro Bowl DT Darnell Dockett to a contract extension that runs through the 2015 season. The deal is worth up to $48 million over four years with $30 million guaranteed, a league source told NFL Network insider Jason La Canfora.

The Arizona Republic reported late Thursday, through a private team source, that the Cardinals are prepared to let Dansby test the open market and will not apply the franchise tag on the six-year veteran for the third consecutive year.
