In today’s Three and Out: Adrian Peterson and Percy Harvin are looking uncertain for Week 15 while Jacob Tamme could be a sleeper play for Rob Gronkowski owners.

Torn apart: So last night, I’m sitting at home watching the Panthers take on the Saints. Jonathan Stewart takes a play near the sidelines and gets hit low as he goes out of bounds. I swear to you on my soul that my very first thought was “Oh, no … for a guy who has suffered a ridiculous amount of foot injuries, that hit looked like a dangerous one to take. I hope he’s OK.” Nope. Wrong. Stewart limped off the field, and it turns out he has a torn MCL in his right knee. I feel badly for Stewart owners who took a chance on him, but I wouldn’t trust this guy to order a pizza without picking up […]
In today’s Three and Out: Gronk’s back … finally! Jake Locker could be back for Week 7 and Percy Harvin might return in Week 8.
In today’s Three and Out: Rob Gronkowski’s 2013 debut could be delayed yet again; Percy Harvin’s return could be coming soon.

In today’s Three and Out: Rob Gronkowski continues to be uncertain for the Patriots; it’s a little more certain that Christian Ponder and Terrelle Pryor won’t play.

Bird watching in NY: The Giants revealed how they plan to use the rumbling Brandon Jacobs, and you can probably guess what that is: goal-line and short-yardage passing situations. In other words, he’s going the become the league’s most infamous vulture you’ve ever seen. He might post a classic Jerome Bettis type of line late in his career: Five carries, eight yards, 1 TD. and that’s good enough for some of you in leagues where total scores, not yardage, dictates who wins. Timeshare: Arian Foster and Ben Tate will split time for … well, as long as Gary Kubiak feels its necessary. For those of you who believe preseason should be eliminated altogether, here’s exhibit A for why players need […]

In today’s Three and Out; Tom Brady’s receiving targets are getting thinner; C.J. Spiller has new (old) company in the Bills backfield.

Gronkowski has second straight limited practice: It may not sound like a big deal at first, but it is considering Gronk seems to be a tad ahead of schedule in his estimated return. I remember reading some articles which wondered whether Gronk’s entire 2013 season was in jeopardy. Now, it appears as if he’ll be back before the calendar turns to October. If you drafted him and stashed him on your bench while living with whatever fill-in you could find, chances are you’ll be rewarded for your patience. Holmes misses Thursday practice: Santonio Holmes took a scheduled day off from practice on Thursday, and the team said it’s because they’re trying to limit his reps. Scheduled or not, no one […]

Allow me this obvious statement, but the 49ers are going to need somebody to step up with Michael Crabtree out. And Vernon Davis is the guy I like to step up.

In today’s Three and Out: Will LeSean McCoy really see the ball more this season? Gronk is making progress and Rob Housler could be a name to watch.

In today’s Three and Out: Shane Vereen could have a bigger role in the Pats offense and Big Ben says his knee ‘feels great’.
The release of Aaron Hernandez will have major fantasy implications, both for the position and the New England Patriots.

In today’s Three and Out: Could Vernon Davis line up at WR? Gronk could be ready for the season and Rashard Mendenhall is on track to start in Arizona.
