“Hey, Nolan, can your mother reduce our taxes?” That was one of many requests Miami Dolphins rookie cornerback Nolan Carroll heard from his teammates last Wednesday, after his mother, Jennifer Carroll, was declared Florida’s new lieutenant governor that morning along with the state’s new governor, Rick Scott.
