The NFL Draft creates stellar comparisons every year. We watched as teams debated over whether to take Peyton Manning or Ryan Leaf, and we know how that turned out. With the 16th pick in the 2012 NFL Draft, the Jets selected North Carolina DE Quinton Coples, and the reaction was mixed from some 3,500 Jets fans on hand at MetLife Stadium. While some cheered, others booed, with hopes of Melvin Ingram heading to New York shattered. It’s been chaos and excitement surrounding the draft, for all but one, who says his focus is elsewhere.
