Joe Linta, the agent for Ravens QB Joe Flacco, met with team officials at the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis on Saturday afternoon and said initial contract talks went well.

According to the Associated Press, Jets rookie QB Mark Sanchez might have gained a slight edge over veteran Kellen Clemens for the starting job.

The rookie quarterback has been a daily presence, working with teammates whenever possible, while his contract gets negotiated.
