With all the money, fame and attention bestowed upon NFL players it is easy to forget that even at the Pro Bowl — where all-stars are recognized for extraordinary performance on the field — off of the field they are still a group of ordinary young men. They are sons, brothers, husbands and fathers, who laugh at and worry about the same things as the rest of us. With 2013 Pro Bowl voting ending this week, time is running out for you to vote for your favorite players. Not sure who to vote for? No worries! To give you a little help in case you’re stuck between choices, or want to throw in some wild cards, we’ve broken it down a little differently. After a one time move to the mainland when the Pro Bowl was played in Miami last year, this season’s display of the league’s best will be back at Aloha Stadium in Hawaii, which is just fine by Cowboys’ TE Jason Witten.

After almost a year of planning, the NFL Pro Bowl players arrived in South Florida Tuesday night for the first Pro Bowl on the mainland in thirty years.
A total of 14 players –- seven from each conference –- have been added to the Pro Bowl rosters, replacing members of the Colts and Saints who will be busy preparing for Super Bowl XLIV.
Dallas’ Wade Phillips, San Diego’s Norv Turner and their staffs will be the coaches for the NFC and AFC, respectively, in the Pro Bowl.
Pro Bowl return man is going to participate in training camp, according to sources, but remains upset about his contract situation and is prepared to sit out regular-season games unless changes made to his deal.

Fans in Hawaii aren’t ready to say goodbye to the Pro Bowl. After the NFC’s 30-21 victory over the AFC on Sunday in Honolulu, the Pro Bowl will be played somewhere other than Hawaii for the first time since 1980.
