With all the money, fame and attention bestowed upon NFL players it is easy to forget that even at the Pro Bowl — where all-stars are recognized for extraordinary performance on the field — off of the field they are still a group of ordinary young men. They are sons, brothers, husbands and fathers, who laugh at and worry about the same things as the rest of us. Fans in Hawaii aren’t ready to say goodbye to the Pro Bowl. After the NFC’s 30-21 victory over the AFC on Sunday in Honolulu, the Pro Bowl will be played somewhere other than Hawaii for the first time since 1980.
