Fast-rising 2014 NFL Draft prospect Aaron Donald (6-foot-1, 287 pounds) stood on his impressive numbers from the NFL Scouting Combine, where he ran a 4.68-second 40-yard dash, had 35 reps of 225 pounds on the bench press, registered a 32-inch vertical jump and 116-inch broad jump, and drew rave reviews for his performance. NFL Network analyst LaDanian Tomlinson made a point a few weeks ago on First On the Field saying that Matt Hasselbeck puts Chris Johnson in better positions to succeed in the pre snap phase of the game.
Luke Nix was a three-year starter on the offensive line at the University of Pittsburgh, and many from the 22 teams present at the school’s pro day were on hand to check this player out. Nix figures to be a late third-round or early fourth-round selection in the 2012 NFL Draft.
