Joshua Cribbs doesn’t plan to play a game for the Browns under the terms of his current contract. His representatives are expected to meet with Browns coach Eric Mangini and general manager George Kokinis next week to discuss re-working his existing six-year, $6.7 million contract.

The Cleveland Browns have fired general manager Phil Savage, a team official confirmed Sunday night. The Browns will officially announce the move Monday, the same day Browns coach Romeo Crennel is scheduled to meet with team owner Randy Lerner.
