NFL Network’s Jason LaCanfora is reporting that Christian Ponder will start for the Vikings, but what will it mean to your fantasy team? Let’s just say that it can’t get much worse. If you spent any time watching Donovan McNabb throwing bounce passes to his receivers, this should be looked at as a positive move.

The addition of Donovan McNabb is good news for Adrian Peterson and the rest of the Vikings’ top offensive options.

If Chris Johnson holds out of training camp, fantasy owners who draft him would be wise to grab Javon Ringer late on draft day.

Based on the current state of things around the NFL, it’s tough to find any news that has major fantasy significance (sigh). For the fantasy enthusiast, Brett Favre‘s presence does have a considerable impact. Especially for those brave souls who have decided to roll with RB Adrian Peterson tonight (and bless you people for doing that, hopefully your faith will be rewarded because we are all pulling for you). Favre also makes WR Percy Harvin and TE Visanthe Shiancoe much better, too.

Bad news if you were banking on Vikings WR Percy Harvin playing on Monday night. Our Steve Wyche is reporting that Harvin is definitely out, according to a team source.
