Former West Virginia QB Pat White worked out with the New England Patriots on Wednesday, spending the majority of the workout on wide receiver drills, and worked out with the Denver Broncos on Wednesday, according to league sources.

QB Pat White was among the participants at the West Virginia Pro Day on March 12. Ten former Mountaineers worked out indoors on FieldTurf.

Former West Virginia QB Pat White did not participate in any strength or running drills on Thursday, choosing to stand on his draft combine perfomances in those areas.

Former West Virginia quarterback Pat White said Tuesday he wants to remain at quarterback and during his interviews with teams, he estimates that only two of the 32 NFL teams are giving him serious consideration at the position.

“It is not a one-man race right now.” – NFL Network Guest Analyst Jon Gruden about this year’s crop of quarterbacks.

West Virginia’s Pat White refused to practice at any other position besides quarterback at the Senior Bowl. The decision raised some eyebrows, but it paid off when he was named MVP of the game.
