Some Denver Broncos fans are upset over the team’s falling-out with QB Jay Cutler, who was traded to the Chicago Bears on Thursday night. New coach Josh McDaniels addressed the situation with the media Friday, but Broncos owner Pat Bowlen told his side of the saga in an open letter to the team’s fans.

In a statement released last night by the Broncos, team owner Pat Bowlen said that “numerous attempts to contact Jay Cutler in the last 10 days, both by head coach Josh McDaniels and myself, have been unsuccessful.” Cutler’s camp says that’s just not so.
