Representatives from nine NFL teams — including Jacksonville Jaguars assistant defensive backs coach Mike Rutenberg — were present at Ohio’s pro day, where 13 players worked out indoors on FieldTurf. Travis Carrie, CB (5-foot-11 5/8, 204 pounds) — Carrie ran the 40-yard dash in 4.51 and 4.45 seconds. He had a 41-inch vertical jump and a 10-foot-3 broad jump. He ran the short shuttle in 4.26 seconds and the three-cone drill in 6.97 seconds. Carrie was at the combine, but didn’t work out due to a knee issue. Ohio University held its pro day on March 20. Workouts were run outdoors on FieldTurf. Drills were performed on the game field. Five teams showed up to watch 10 Ohio players and a handful of other players from small schools.
Mississippi, Northwestern and Ohio held their pro days this week.
