Washington tight end Austin Seferian-Jenkins won’t participate in Washington’s April 2 pro day workout due to pending surgery to repair a stress fracture in his foot, according to FOX Sports’ Joel Klatt. Doctors at the NFL Scouting Combine discovered Seferian-Jenkins’ injury in Indianapolis last week, causing the former Huskies star to join a number of top tight ends who were unable to perform at their best at the event. These are not as all-encompassing as the combine, but they are important enough for the key decision-makers in the league to travel around the country for more than a month to watch the talent up close and in person.
