Cody Latimer, WR (6-foot-2 5/8, 215 pounds) — Due to a broken bone in his foot, Latimer was only able to run straight ahead and did not participate in any positional drills. Jets running backs coach Anthony Lynn was among the representatives from 15 NFL teams at Alabama-Birmingham’s pro day March 13. Lynn was on hand to see Darrin Reaves (5-6 7/8, 209 pounds), who was not at the combine. Reaves ran the 40 twice in 4.59 seconds against the wind and 4.54 with the wind. He had a 39 1/2-inch vertical and a 10-3 broad jump. He ran the short shuttle in 4.54 and the three-cone drill in 7.07. He also threw the bar up 20 times. He’s likely to be a camp free agent.

Jets OC, Seahawks WR coach at Oregon State to see Cooks

Representatives from 20 NFL teams — including New York Jets offensive coordinator Marty Mornhinweg, Seattle Seahawks wide receivers coach Kippy Brown, and assistants from the Cincinnati Bengals and Philadelphia Eagles — were present Friday for Oregon State’s pro day, which was held indoors on FieldTurf. Brandin Cooks, WR (5-foot-9 3/4, 185 pounds) — Cooks stood on his numbers from the NFL Scouting Combine, where he had one of the event’s most impressive performances — blazing a 4.33-second 40-yard dash time as the most notable effort. Jace Amaro has look of late first-rounder at Texas Tech’s pro day

Representatives from 20 NFL teams — including New York Jets general manager John Idzik, two members of the Green Bay Packers, and tight end coaches from the New Orleans Saints and New York Giants — were present for Texas Tech’s pro day on Friday. A total of 13 Red Raiders players worked out outdoors on AstroTurf, which was kind of matted down and was not a good surface. But the prospects had to work outdoors because Texas Tech’s indoor facility is being renovated. Jace Amaro, TE (6-foot-5 1/2, 266 pounds) — Amaro ran the 40-yard dash in 4.69 seconds against the wind and 4.68 with the wind. He had a 33 1/2-inch vertical jump and posted 24 reps of 225 […]
