Former college teammates Matt Cassel and Lofa Tatupu are poised to square off when the Patriots and Seahawks meet at Qwest field this Sunday, but as the Boston Globe’s Adam Kilgore notes, when the two friends met at the University of Southern California in 2002, neither seemed poised to make much of an impact on the NFL.

The Patriots head into Sunday’s rematch with the Miami Dolphins with the status of a couple of key defensive players up in the air. LB Tedy Bruschi (knee) and DE Richard Seymour (toe) are both listed as questionable after practicing on a limited basis Thursday and Friday.
