Nebraska CB Prince Amukamara stopped by the NFL Network studios Thursday, and we took some time to get to know him as he prepares for the 2011 NFL Draft.

Nebraska DT Ndamukong Suh is widely expected to be one of the top five picks in the draft, and with that lofty status should come a lucrative contract with significant guaranteed money.

While Ndamukong Suh may have decided to stand on all of his drill numbers from the NFL Scouting Combine, the prospect of seeing him participate in positional drills was enough to attract Rams coach Steve Spagnuolo, Rams general manager Billy Devaney and Lions general manager Martin Mayhew to see him at Nebraska’s pro day. The Rams and Lions have the top two picks in the 2010 NFL Draft, and most draft analysts expect one of those two teams to choose Suh. NFL.com’s Pat Kirwan has him going to the Lions, while Bucky Brooks has him landing in St. Louis. Nebraska DT Ndamukong Suh might wind up being the first overall pick in the NFL draft, but this wasn’t how his athletic career was necessarily supposed to unfold. Suh’s first sport was soccer, which he started playing at the age of 3.

Twenty teams were represented to watch 16 prospects work out on FieldTurf. Carolina offensive line coach Dave Magazu and Miami offensive line coach Dave DeGuglielmo were in attendance.
