Lane Kiffin‘s first USC staff will include his father, former Buccaneers defensive coordinator Monte Kiffin, and possibly ex-Titans offensive coordinator Norm Chow. However, Kiffin will not say if any other assistant coaches with NFL ties or backgrounds will join the Trojans.

On NFL Network’s GameDay Morning, Warren Sapp revealed that Buccaneers defensive coordinator Monte Kiffin told his players that he is leaving them after this season to join his son Lane at the University of Tennessee.

Had Lane Kiffin not gotten fired Tuesday, the Dec. 28 game in Tampa between the Raiders and the Buccaneers would have been billed as the Raiders head coach going against his father, Monte, the Tampa Bay defensive coordinator.
