Entire Vikings coaching staff witnesses Minnesota’s pro day

Representatives from 20 NFL teams — including the entire coaching staff for the Minnesota Vikings — were on hand for Minnesota’s pro day on March 3 to see 25 players work out indoors on FieldTurf. Ra’Shede Hageman, DT (6-foot-6, 311 pounds) — stood on his numbers from the NFL Scouting Combine and only went through position drills. Brock Vereen, FS (6-0, 199) — Vereen was at the combine, stood on his numbers from that event and only did position drills at Minnesota’s pro day. Can Hoyer lead Browns offense?

Browns to start third-string QB: Jason Campbell is second on Cleveland’s depth chart, but head coach Rob Chudzinski has decided to start Brian Hoyer when the Browns take a trip to Minnesota for Week 3. Browns GM Mike Lombardi seems enamored with Hoyer, but even the most incurable optimists will have a difficult time making a case that Hoyer will be a productive fantasy QB this week.
