With Sunday’s Week 16 games in the books, here’s a look at the notable injuries around the league, starting with an update on Chargers RB Mike Tolbert.
Chargers Pro Bowl TE Antonio Gates (toe), WR Malcom Floyd (hamstring) and RB Mike Tolbert (hand) all will play Sunday against the Raiders after being listed as questionable on the team’s final injury report.
Chargers RB Mike Tolbert (hand) was limited in practice on Friday, the first time he was able to practice at all this week. Tolbert is listed as questionable on the Chargers injury report, while rookie Ryan Mathews (ankle) is probable after practicing all week.
Even with Ryan Mathews expected back this week, Mike Tolbert remains a viable fantasy option.
As if losing Vincent Jackson to an injury in his season debut wasn’t enough, the Chargers have now lost perhaps their biggest remaining playmaker — Mike Tolbert – to an injury against the Colts.
