Even if Mike Holmgren is hesitant to do so, I have no problem anointing Colt McCoy as the Browns’ starting quarterback for next season. Of course, we know it’s not my decision.

I was very encouraged at what I saw from rookie QB Colt McCoy. I don’t know that you could ever put a rookie quarterback in a more difficult situation in his NFL debut than what McCoy faced against the Steelers.

Sam Bradford completed 39 passes this past season for the Sooners, but that was because of two shoulder injuries. He came out today at his pro day and threw the ball 63 times and only one of them touched the ground. And, trust me, it was because one of the receivers dropped the football.
