The San Francisco 49ers not looking to get into the Peyton Manning sweepstakes at this time and are instead focused on Alex Smith, according to a team source.
The pursuit of Peyton Manning is expected to begin as soon as possible, according to several executives who have interest in the free-agent to be.
While Dolphins general manager Jeff Ireland wouldn’t go into detail about his team’s pursuit of a quarterback, he did acknowledge a billboard purchased this week by fans pining for Peyton Manning.
The Miami Dolphins are a team with much still to be decided, including who will play quarterback and how it will shift to a 4-3 defense.
