Kurt Warner appeared to be on his way out of the NFL a few years ago, but now he is one of the candidates MVP while leading the first-place Cardinals. Not bad for a guy who started training camp behind Matt Leinart. Coach Ken Whisenhunt believes that Warner has the numbers to be the MVP.

Lance Moore just scored his second touchdown of the afternoon, this one on a 33-yard pass from Drew Brees. He now has six catches for 85 yards and the two scores.

Warner has two TDs in first quarter

Kurt Warner has thrown 2 touchdown passes in less than one quarter against the Miami Dolphins. Both scores went to Anquan Boldin, who is also on pace to have a monstrous stat line for fantasy owners.

This is the reason I was thrilled when Warner, not Matt Leinart, was named the top quarterback in Arizona.
