The NFL suspended Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Matt Jones on Tuesday for the final three regular-season games of the 2008 season for violating the league’s Substance Abuse Policy.

For weeks, speculation has swirled around Jaguars wide receiver Matt Jones and whether he would be suspended. But now, the day of reckoning is drawing closer. Jones said his appeal of a three-game suspension will be held Dec. 4 at the NFL’s New York offices.
