Did Pete Carroll make the right move with Russell Wilson?

There wasn’t outrageous debate in the upper Northwest over who should be the Seattle Seahawks’ starting quarterback in 2012.

Russell Wilson will start against the Raiders (in the preseason finale) and will start the first week of the regular season,” Seattle Seahawks coach Pete Carroll said during a conference call on Sunday. “He is so prepared, he does not seem like a first-year quarterback.”

Wilson was so prolific in every facet of his first three preseason games he did not give the third-year head coach much of a choice.

The Seahawks have three quarterbacks, and as the old saying goes, if you have three, you have none. Or something like that. I may have butchered it, but you get the idea.
