Media Day has come and gone but not without leaving a ton of great memories in its wake.
Mark Herzlich has yet to play the Patriots in Super Bowl XLVI, but the Giants’ rookie linebacker won the biggest battle of his life when he overcame Ewing’s sarcoma, a type of bone cancer.
The latest chapter of Mark Herzlich‘s feel-good story involves the Super Bowl, and he’s more than happy to be here.
Anthony Castonzo is considered by many as one of the top offensive lineman available in the 2011 NFL Draft, and the collegiate standout did nothing to refute that during Boston College’s pro day workout on March 23. Castonzo (6-foot-7, 313 pounds) stood on his combine numbers, but showed off his the size and quickness in positional drills. His workout probably moved him up from the lower half to the middle of the first round. Representatives from 17 teams attended the workout, including New York Giants offensive line coach Pat Flaherty and New England Patriots offensive line coach Dante Scarnecchia.
