Dolphins DE Jason Taylor told the Miami Herald that he plans to continue playing after the 2009 season. Taylor signed a one-year contract with Miami in May.
For now, the news that Tennessee RB Chris Johnson wants to break up the “Smash and Dash” partnership with LenDale White so he can adopt the nickname “Every Coach’s Dream” is nothing more than an amusing diversion. It won’t be so funny later this year, when Johnson becomes every fantasy owner’s nightmare.
Titans RB Chris Johnson told reporters yesterday that “Smash and Dash” is no more. “Smash and Dash” was the nickname shared by him and teammate LenDale White.
LenDale White came to Tennessee’s offseason workout program at 238 pounds, his lightest reporting weight as a member of the Titans.
