The Patriots were missing RBs Laurence Maroney (shoulder) and LaMont Jordan (foot) from Thursday’s practice. Both players missed practice for the second straight day.

It’s still early in the week, and injuries sometimes change. But there is the first sign of trouble on New England’s injury report.

Laurence Maroney has left today’s game against the Jets with an injured shoulder. We’re hearing that he’s questionable to return. Look for Sammy Morris and LaMont Jordan to see the bulk of the carries while he’s out.
