LaDainian Tomlinson told NFL Network on Wednesday, in no uncertain terms, that if the Jets acquire Peyton Manning, Mark Sanchez would ask for his release.

Jets RB Shonn Greene‘s struggles this season have made LaDainian Tomlinson a key factor again — and as always, that means he’s playing a big part in the passing game. The 32-year-old veteran already has 13 catches this season, and he needs just five more to become just the fourth running back in NFL history to reach 600 for his career.

Kansas City Chiefs blazer Jamaal Charles (No. 33) and St. Louis Rams mainstay Steven Jackson (No. 38) were revealed in Sunday night’s telecast. NFL Network analyst Marshall Faulk, one of the greatest running back to ever suit up for the Rams, thinks Jackson deserved to be higher.
