Kevin Boss was doubtful and Brandon Jacobs was questionable, so this shouldn’t be a huge surprise. Derrick Ward is a tough start against the motivated Vikings defense that will be missing Pat Williams. Coach Tom Coughlin does want to get some backups, such as David Carr, into the mix. So proceed with caution.
Bernard Berrian was questionable coming into the game, but this is a huge game for the Vikings, so this isn’t much of a surprise.
