Purdue defensive tackle Kawann Short was unable to work out at the NFL Scouting Combine or the school’s pro day on March 1 due to a hamstring injury, so an individual workout was held on Monday.

Robert Marve‘s college football odyssey could still net an opportunity in the NFL. During the March 1 workout in West Lafayette, Ind., Marve displayed a great arm during position drills, a demonstration that could earn the quarterback a longer look from NFL teams as a potential rookie free-agent pickup.

Purdue defensive tackle Kawann Short will not work out at the NFL Scouting Combine or his school’s pro day on March 1. A hamstring injury will keep the star Boilermaker shelved for the immediate future, but Short will hold a personal workout for teams at the Purdue campus on March 25.
