Ignore Darren McFadden‘s second-team status on the Raiders’ initial depth chart, he’s still the Oakland player you should target first in fantasy drafts.

Ravens RB Willis McGahee has been one of the most frustrating fantasy options in recent memory, so forgive my trepidation when he told the Baltimore Sun that he’s completely healthy and ready to challenge Ray Rice for the No. 1 spot in Baltimore.
Darren McFadden scored his second touchdown of the season on a 1-yard run to put the Raiders ahead of the Broncos 17-10. Justin Fargas continues to see more of the work for the Silver and Black, however, so fantasy leaguers hoping McFadden’s touchdown is sign of better things to come shouldn’t be too optimistic.
Falcons: QB D.J. Shockley (3rd), FS Thomas DeCoud, CB David Irons, LB Tony Gilbert, C Alex Stepanovich, T Sam Baker, DE Simon Fraser, WR Adam Jennings.
Raiders inactives: QB Marques Tuiasosopo (3rd), WR Todd Watkins, RB Darren McFadden, DB Rashad Baker, LB John Alston, DE Derrick Burgess, T James Marten, C John Wade.
Some quick injury updates from around the league:
–Rookie running back Darren McFadden, who leads Oakland in carries (30) and rushing yards (210) is active for the Raiders, while Justin Fargas, who began the season as the Raiders’ starting RB, is inactive vs. the Bills.
We’ve just found out that Darren McFadden will be active and start against Buffalo. Justin Fargas is inactive, so Michael Bush will be second on the depth chart. He should see his share of the carries, especially with McFadden a little dinged. Overall, it looks like it’s safe to start the rookie this week.
