O’Sullivan has thrown for two scores (6, 24) in the first half against what is an embarrassing Lions defense. The veteran was a tremendous fantasy sleeper heading into the week, and he’s meeting expectations.

When quarterbacks J.T. O’Sullivan and Jon Kitna face off this weekend, it’s another chance for 49ers offensive coordinator Mike Martz to see two of his projects in action.

Cardinals inactives: QB Brian St. Pierre (3rd), RB J.J. Arrington, T Brandon Keith, DT Alan Branch, WR Early Doucet, TE Jerame Tuman, DT Gabe Watson.

Analysis: RB Tim Hightower will see all of the carries behind RB Edgerrin James with Arrington out. WR Steve Breaston will be the team’s third wideout.

J.T. O’Sullivan has won the starting job in San Francisco. Does this mean you pick him first overall in your fantasy draft? Not so much. Hey, just because Mike Martz risks his career on journeymen quarterbacks doesn’t mean you do the same to your fantasy team.
