With 10 days left until the NFL Draft, Jason Campbell represents an intriguing backup plan for teams who opt to pass on the top-tier quarterbacks. As such, his future seems to be tied closely to that of Jimmy Clausen.

At Jimmy Clausen‘s workout on Friday, I saw pretty much what I expected to see.

Quarterback Jimmy Clausen threw for 45 minutes Friday in a scripted workout in front of representatives from 16 NFL teams. While he did not run the 40-yard dash, observers said Clausen appeared able to push off of his surgically repaired toe and drive the ball well on his throws.
